Classification![]() If you decided to take KOI you would necessarily have a need in a good guidance in order to know more about KOI classification and their keeping. KOI are classified as metallic and nonmetallic, and differ on the appearanceof scales and colour pattens. Majority KOI are nonmetallic but such type as ogon has a metallic lustre which is gold or silver. Gin Rin are KOI of diferent colours with silver sparcling scales. Doitsu are blue-grey with dark blue scales along the dorsal and leteral lines and red on the sides and fins.
